Run to Live
On Jan. 16, Port Renfrew welcomed Scott Cannata, fifth from left, and his entourage into the community. Cannata embarked on an incredible journey from St. John’s Newfoundland on May 1, 2011 running 42 km/day, across Canada to raise money for cancer research. He ended his run on the beach in Port Renfrew in a snow storm, running into the Pacific Ocean with his grandmother, second on right, at his side.
