Mrs. Wilson’s Grade 2 class presented Ingrid Johnston of the Sooke Food Bank with a cheque for $500 on Wednesday, December 11.
The entire student population at John Muir elementary school participated in raising the funds through a toy sale held the week before. That money will fund 16 Christmas hampers for families in the Sooke region.
