A representative from the Compost Education Centre in Victoria is coming to the Sooke Country Market on Saturday (June 18) to discuss backyard composting.
There will be demo composters (Earth Machine and Green Cone), fact sheets and educational materials such as Backyard Composting, Food Waste Digester, Mulching, Bear-Aware Composting, Composting Options for Multi-Family Dwellings and How to Build a Do-It-Yourself Greenhouse.
The Compost Education Centre rep will be at the Zero Waste Sooke table between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
