A 76-year-old East Sooke man has been reported missing since early Friday morning.

Thomas Anthony David Woods, who goes by the name Tad, went missing from his home on Gillespie Road in East Sooke sometime after 8 a.m on, according to a family friend.

It has been reported Woods was heading into Colwood and Langford to visit his daughter and run errands.

He left behind his wallet, keys, vehicle and cellular phone. It is speculated Woods took public transit or went on foot.

Woods was last seen wearing a black winter jacket and blue jeans. He has short grey hair and blue eyes.

Information should be reported to the police at 9-1-1.
