West Shore RCMP have released sketches of the two suspects behind a frightening home invasion in Colwood last week.

Police say two men forced their way into a condominium unit in a building at Aquattro on April 19, at about 1 a.m. The suspects robbed the two occupants of their cash, wallets and keys in what police describe as a targeted home invasion at the wrong address.

The men wore hoodies but didn't conceal their faces. Sgt. Max Fossum said one of the victims was a victim of a robbery in the past and made special effort to remember details.

"We are hoping to get somebody," Fossum said. "These guys are a danger to community and there is concern they will victimize other people."

Male suspect No. 1 is described as white, 25 to 30 years old, five foot seven to five foot nine, medium build, all black clothing and black high ankle footwear.

Male suspect No. 2 is white, 25 to 30 years old, slim face, sandy blonde hair, blue eyes, black clothing and black high ankle footwear.

Anyone who recognizes these suspects can call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
