Mayor Wendal Milne shakes hands with Jason Dumont of Dumont Tire in recognition of his 20 years as a 20-year supporter of the Welcome Wagon. On hand at the presentation of a plaque were Welcome Wagon’s Liz Kreeft and Judy MacNeill.

Dumont Tire, located on Otter Point Road, first started with one employee on Idlemore and now employs three mechanics, one tire person and two boss/managers. The business has gone from tires sales and installation to full mechanical services.

The Welcome Wagon provides newcomers to Sooke with information on what Sooke has to offer.
