The District of Sooke cleaned house Monday, slightly tweaking the term of reference for a commission and a committee.
The newly created Sooke Fire Services Commission will now report directly to the chief administrative officer, instead of council and the hiring committee is responsible only for the hiring of the CAO.
The CAO will hire all staff.
Technically, council has only employee: the CAO.
