Three Sooke Fire Rescue firefighters aided in a rope rescue of an injured man in his 60s after he fell down a steep slope off Parry Cross Road in Metchosin on Sunday.
The man, who had been reported missing Friday, was taken to hospital for possible hypothermia.
No other vehicles were available.
