Passed away after a short illness at home surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his son Michael in 1980. Cherished husband and best friend to his wife Dona for 50 years. Loving father to his children: Colleen + (Kelly), Neil + (Tracy), Yvette + (Mark), Holly + (Mark) and Jason. He will always be remembered and loved by his thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Beloved brother of Douglas and Leonard.
Ed was well known for his volunteer services in the Sooke Community. He was a member of the Ambulance Service, Fire Department and Sooke Community Association.
Family would like to give special thanks to Danica, Bridgette, and Kate for their kindness during his stay in hospital.

He was a man of generous spirit and shared his positive outlook with those around him.
