Eura Douglas Webber Galbraith

August 13, 2007

Predeceased by her husband of forty years, Donald.

Survived by her sister, Nadyne

Roseborough of Victoria, and Brother-in-law Gus Galbraith of Lake Cowichan.

Also survived by her children, Thomas Galbraith (Helen), Heather Brown (Micky), Moira Galbraith (Tom), Cheryl (Don), Glenda Galbraith, Gordon Galbraith (Rochelle), Stuart Galbraith (Lesa), and Kirk Galbraith (Sheila); by her grandchildren Sonya Strang, Angus Brown, Shona and Cameron Murray, Dawnelle Galbraith, Scott and Katie Rae Galbraith, Mariah, Kara and Kory Galbraith, and Matthew Galbraith; by her great grandchildren Carson and Nathan Strang, and Jasmine Brown.

Eura and Donald settled in Sooke after Don retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force. It was the realization of a life long dream - living on the west coast and fishing for Dad, picking roses in January for Mom.

Eura’s proudest achievement was, with the help of Don, she raised eight happy, healthy, independent children.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Royal Jubilee Hospital for their effort and compassion during this difficult time.

A memorial service will be held for Eura at the Sands Funeral Chapel, 317 Goldstream Ave. in Colwood, 11: 00am September 17, 2007.

In lieu of flowers please donate in Eura’s memory to Diabetes Research. Condolences maybe offered at www.sandsfuneral.com
