It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. John Grigor on August 14, 2013. john will be remembered by many as Sooke’s first veterinarian and as a founding member of the Sooke Rotary Club.
He leaves behind a loving family: brother Alan, wife Gill, children David (Ali), Katie, Karen, Rob (Katy), and grandchildren Jordan, Ara, Gia, Fynn and Connor. And, of course, Harlan the dog and Sammy the cat.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 28 and 2 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Townsend Road. Bring your favourite memory of John and a photo if you have one.
