She leaves behind her husband Bill and George “The Cat”. Parents Kathryn and Maurice Blizzard, brothers Harry (Brenda), Murray and Martin of Ontario. Brother in Law Larry (Betty) Rumsby of Sooke as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Toronto she divided her schooling between Toronto and Burnaby, spent several years working in various cities across the country before meeting Bill her true love and settling in Sooke in 1981.
Memorial service will be held at the St Rose of Lima, 6221 Sooke Rd. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers a donation to Sooke Hospice or Sooke Elderly Citizens Housing Society would be appreciated.
