Survived by mother Margaret Lowe and father Lawrence Lowe, brother Allan Lowe.
Predeceased by grandparents Gladys & Don Lowe and Evelyn & George Wells of Sooke.
Russ was a loner. He enjoyed fishing, sports and nature.
He will be missed by his best friends Darlene Davies and Bill Rittaler of Sooke.
