The Strawberry Tea and take-outs event, held at Knox Presbyterian Church on June 22 was an overwhelming success. A highlight was when Bill Dryden piped in four RCMP officers. To everyone's delight they were dressed in their red serge as they served to guest, cake, strawberries, whipping cream and tea.
Earlier 285 of the take-outs were delivered to Sooke stores as an outreach project.
We wish to thank the Sooke News Mirror for their article in the paper and the Sooke Business community for their support.
Proceeds from this Strawberry Tea will be used for the work at Knox Presbyterian Church and the Women's Missionary Society.
