The use of illegal automatic weapons near Jordan River is indeed scary.
I am wondering how it’s been established that automatic rather than semi-automatic weapons are used?
Automatic weapons have been illegal in Canada since 1977 and the only ones legally used are “grandfathered” for collectors and for special purposes such as movie props.
The press in North America in recent years, and after too many massacres, has demonstrated a sloppy use of terms, too readily using the term “automatic” when the weapons used were a “semi-automatic”. Hope the News-Mirror got it right.
