We are at a critical point in human history. Amidst all the political conflict, social upheaval and human suffering plaguing our world, we live on a planet, our global homeland, that is on the brink of severe climate devastation.
We can only address this crisis by coming together as one human family, using science and reason to find multiple actions necessary to address this impending catastrophe.

It will require our moral/spiritual fortitude to act together, making necessary short-term personal and social sacrifices. But in doing so, we can achieve lasting benefits for ourselves and our planet.
This challenge is too important to be mired in antagonistic political polarization and destructive misinformation.
Government initiatives to curb climate change are a minuscule contribution to the global efforts required to mitigate this scourge, but I hope that at least we can stand before our children and our children’s children and say, “We did our part” to help our homeland heal itself.
