Exercise your vote. Democracy can get flabby. People need to decide what issues are important and who will do the best job for them: then vote.
Otherwise, only a few people are making decisions and that isn’t the idea of democracy.
In our area, people can vote in the advance poll from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sooke Community Hall or at SEAPARC on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday in the week before Election day. Election Day is Tuesday 14 May.
Lots of opportunities: no reason not to vote.
