Hey, Guy McDonnold, I agree. The road closure for the triathlon is inappropriate. My phone calls for info were directed to the District of Sooke (are they hosting the event?).
I noticed that most of the road closures are in Otter Point, Shirley and Jordan River.Very little in Sooke.
My suggestion is to use the logging roads on mountain bikes and to dub it a “Wild West Coast” event.Only in Sooke, you say?
