Sooke hockey fundraiser for upcoming Seattle tournament
The Sooke Pee Wee C2 Team has been invited to play in the Seattle Minor Hockey Spring Thaw Tournament Feb. 15-17, 2013. This is a great opportunity for our children to play hockey in an international competition. Our team was selected in part by the huge amount of team spirit they have exhibited. We are hoping to also win the Team Spirit Award in Seattle, representing the Town of Sooke and Vancouver Island.
One of the main fundraising events we plan on holding is a silent auction held at the SEAPARC Leisure Complex on Feb. 10th. We are the process of collecting merchandise for the event and we are writing to request your assistance in making our Auction a success. Your donated item and any promo materials you wish will be on display and available for bids on our Facebook Event Page and at the Leisure Centre.
