The final hockey tournament of the year took place this weekend (March 21 - 23), wrapping up the year with the Novice Spring Break-Away tournament. Some lucky supporter also won a WestJet voucher for two guests to fly anywhere in WestJet’s world on regularly scheduled flights. Last year’s winners, the Friesen Family just returned from the Dominican Republic using the tickets they won at last years draw.

Equipment return (Jerseys, Goalie Gear, Pucks and First AID)

The 2013-14 season is winding to an end. All Sooke Minor Hockey equipment must be returned at the end of the season, by April 15 at the latest.

Jerseys are to be returned cleaned to your team manager who will then hand in sets to the equipment manager. Missing jerseys, undocumented damage and stains will cause a forfeit of your uniform deposit.

All goalie gear is to be returned to the equipment manager. If gear is needed for summer camps it can be signed out at that time.

To arrange for the return of pucks and first aid kits, please return these items along with the team jerseys.

Deposit cheques will be shredded unless there’s an issue in which case you will be contacted.

If you have any questions or concerns, contact Mike Bainbridge, the equipment manager, at equipment@sookeminorhockey.ca
