Duncan earns top baseball honours

Sooke baseball product Tyler Duncan has earned top honours from the Premier Baseball League.

Sooke baseball product Tyler Duncan has earned top honours from the Premier Baseball League.

Duncan, 17, won MVP and top offensive player awards by the league last week.

The Victoria Eagles’ centrefielder was a standout both offensively and defensively, with the ability to hit for average and power and is a strong positional player. He led the league in triples.

Duncan is a Grade 12 student at Belmont Secondary School.

The Eagles were also named organization of the year.
