The Sooke Region Chamber of Commerce has begun its search for a new board of directors.
Nominations are being accepted for board members who will be elected at the chamber’s annual general meeting on Jan. 25.
The board plays a crucial role in driving initiatives that promote economic development, support local businesses, and enhance the overall well-being of the community.
“We believe that a diverse and dynamic board is essential for ensuring a well-rounded representation of our community’s interests,” said chamber executive director Deb Schenk in an email to members.
Those interested in the chamber of commerce can attend the next meeting on Dec. 28 at 6 p.m., or contact Schenk by phone at 250-642-6112 or email info@sookeregionchamber.com.
