Sooke Region Chamber of Commerce gives awards to individuals, businesses

Winners of the Sooke Region Chamber of Commerce awards posed for a photo on March 1. The awards event was held at the Prestige Hotel.

At the annual awards ceremony held at the Prestige Hotel Convention Centre on Thursday, March 1,12 awards were given in a variety of categories. Elida Peers won for Volunteer of the Year and Evonne Black for Citizen of the Year. A full list of the winners will be printed in the March 7 print edition of the Sooke News Mirror.
