Community organizations in Sooke can start submitting applications for the district’s grant program.
Non-profit organizations, charitable organizations or service clubs can apply for a share of $65,000.
The grant program provides funding to community projects, programs or events that improve the “wellbeing of the District of Sooke community,” the district stated in a press release.
The application deadline is March 15.
