Expect a cool afternoon for Sooke Santa Claus Parade

Temperature expected to dip to 5C

You might want to bundle up for today’s Santa Claus Parade.

Environment Canada is forcasting a clear day, but temperatures are expected to dip to about 5 Celsius by parade time.

The parade starts at 5 p.m. when it leaves the Sooke elementary school parking lot to Wadams Way via Otter Point Road.

Following the parade, the public is invited to gather at the Evergreen Centre kiosk for a tree lighting ceremony. Refreshments are available.
