Final Projects Night at EMCS to feature art, drama, and film students’ work

If you would like to see what EMCS art, film, and drama students have been busy working on, attend the schools Final Projects Night this Thursday (Jan. 18).

The show begins at 7 p.m. in the EMCS theatre, and feature students’ best work from the art, acting, drama, and film classes.

The annual event has been held every year since 2001.

Theatre teacher Lisa McLellan said it is intended to be a celebration of the of the original work students have been creating together and an opportunity for them to perform in front of a live theatre audience.

She said this year, the theatre students’ performances have a strong focus on comedic acts, and highlighted to keep a look out for the Seniors’ scene called The Library.

Tickets cost $5 and can be bought at the door, or at the school office in advance.
