Royal Canadian Legion members in Sooke will place flags of remembrance on the graves of veterans in local cemeteries this month.
“We may not recognize the names of some of the veterans who have died,” said Camille Tkacz, a legion spokesperson.
If anyone has family or friends they know who were veterans, please call the Legion (250-642-2052) and leave a message for Bob or Camille. A flag will be placed on the grave next year.
