It’s the start of Fruit season, and have the bears been visiting your fruit trees?
The best way to prevent bears from sticking around is to collect fruit before it falls, let it ripen inside your home and most importantly prevent the fruit from compiling on the ground underneath the tree as this is a good way to invite unwanted pests to your yard.
Bears can become defensive and potentially dangerous around a food source. Wild Wise Sooke is trying to unite those who like to pick fruit with those who need their fruit trees picked.
