Mayor Maja Tait is hosting an open house on Oct. 17 to hear from her constituents.

“This is an opportunity for the mayor to engage with residents, share strategic priorities, highlight future plans and initiatives,” the district said in a statement on its website.

The open house will be held at Sooke Community Hall from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The event is part of the District of Sooke’s Talktober initiative, where council and staff will meet with the public in a variety of events. For information, please 250-642-1634.
