For the eighth straight year, West Coast Grill, along with the Prestige Oceanfront Resort, is looking for any and all gingerbread creations.
The annual contest is open to children and adults. Registration for this year’s event is open until Nov. 30.
Gingerbread houses are on display from Dec 1 to 21 in the hotel Lobby.
Sooke residents are welcome to come by and view the houses and submit a vote. A cash donation of any size counts as a vote for your favourite house and proceeds will be donated to the Sooke Food Bank.
On Dec. 22 the totals will be added up and the winners will be announced. Winner of the kids category will receive a Christmas goody bag and the winner of the adult category will receive a one night stay at the Prestige and a $100 restaurant voucher.
