Victoria fills with lights and cheer Saturday as the 37th Island Farms Santa’s Light Parade rolls down Government Street.
Come experience the magic downtown Nov. 24 with floats, bands, entertainment and lots of fun for the whole family.
The parade begins at 5 p.m. at Government and Belleville streets and moves north up to Centennial Square at Chatham Street.
Spots fill up fast along the route so if you want a great view of the 75 entries and 2,000 participants, come down early for a good seat.
Following the parade, head to the square where Santa hands out free cookies and milk and the annual Lighting of the Giant Sequoia, set for 7 p.m.
From 4 to 8:30 p.m. “Christmas Square” (Centennial Square) will have games, fun, great food and loads of entertainment.
This season, show your love and support by bringing down your spare change and food items. Funds raised are donated to the Mustard Seed.
