Sooke Middle School students photograph puppies in class

Students at Journey Middle School spent their exploratory class practicing puppy photography Thursday.

The puppies were borrowed from the Victoria Humane Society, and teacher Nicky Nadeau, who fosters dogs in the summer months, said this was a great way for the puppies to warm up to children before they are fostered out.

Our reporter, Dawn Gibson, was there to capture some photos from the class.
