Crowds gathered at the Sooke Holy Trinity church on Sunday for re-blessing of the historic bell.

Crowds gathered at the Sooke Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Sunday to see the re-blessing of the recently-restored church bell.

Leading the ceremony was B.C. Bishop Rev. Logan McMenamie and T’Sou-ke First Nation Elders Shirley Alphonse and Linda Bristol.

The bell had been stored away for years following a fire that levelled the original church nearly a decade ago.
