Registration is open for the Greater Victoria Performing Arts festival as organizers prepare to “applaud the future” in April’s in-person return of the 95-year-old event.
“We look forward to the return of festival’s live adjudication and concert experiences,” the non-profit festival’s office administrator Sandi Best, said in a press release. “(Since) 1927, we have been developing artistic skills and celebrating the love of the performing arts.”
The festival takes place over 13 confirmed venues thus far, and involves hundreds of volunteers and local donors.
Performances include brass, choral, classical guitar, composition, ethnic dance, fiddle, piano, speech, strings, studio dance, classical voice, musical theatre and school band, dance or orchestra.
Performances take place April 6 to May 14. Register at gvpaf.org.
