The soothing sounds of a symphony of strings will fill the garden at a home in Otter Point for the conclusion of this year’s Secret Garden Tour on Sunday, June 2.
Although the Sooke Philharmonic Orchestra has included concerts as part of past Secret Garden Tour events, this will mark the first time the concert will take place at the end of the tour, said Bonnie Sprinkling, a board member with the Sooke Philharmonic Orchestra.
“We’re looking forward to trying something new,” said Sprinkling, one of the organizers of the event. “We’ve all got our fingers crossed that the weather co-operates.”
The concert begins following the garden tour at 4:30 p.m. at 3183 Robinson Rd. in Otter Point.
The orchestra’s symphony strings will perform a selection of light classical offerings under the direction of conductor Yariv Aloni, and food will be available for purchase from Bull & Sons.
Sprinkling suggests making the garden where the concert takes place as the last stop on your tour.
