Sing along at City Hall during annual Carolling Week

Visitors to City Hall this week can celebrate the holidays and sing along at the 52nd annual Carolling Week.

Three days this week at noon, students from Victoria-area schools will be performing popular Christmas carols in council chambers, accompanied by Rod Berod on keyboard.

Each performance will end with an opportunity for guests to sing along. Al Ferraby of CFAX 1070 will emcee Tuesday and Wednesday, and Coun. Charlayne Thornton-Joe will emcee Friday.

Choir Schedule:

Tues. Dec. 5: Marigold Elementary School – Noon; Frank Hobbs Elementary School – 12:25 p.m.

Wed. Dec. 6: Margaret Jenkins Elementary School – Noon; Eagle View Elementary School – 12:25 p.m.

Fri. Dec. 8: Glenlyon Norfolk School – Noon
