Accident closes major thoroughfare in Sooke

Two vehicle collision blamed for long wait to get in or out of Sooke

A head-on collision between two vehicles along Sooke Road at Ludlow, stopped traffic going in and out of Sooke for close to three hours on Monday, May 11. RCMP report there were no fatalities, however the driver of a black Chevrolet SUV, along with the driver if a Toyota mini-van were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash and the investigation is continuing.
