Another Sooke councillor vying for mayor’s chair

Two have announced and a third has been added to list of candidates for mayor

After meeting with council after Monday night’s meeting, Councillor Kevin Pearson announced that he will be a candidate in the mayoral race in Sooke. Pearson said he wanted to consult his family and workplace before making the announcement. Long time Sooke resident Pearson is serving his first term as councillor.

Pearson joins Councillors Herb Haldane and Maja Tait who both announced they are running for mayor in the November 15 municipal election.
