UPDATE: Loaded dump truck, commercial truck collide on Saanich overpass

Police say McKenzie Avenue overpass has been cleared, open to traffic

Police were on the scene of a two-vehicle collision on the McKenzie Avenue overpass in Saanich where a truck had rolled onto its side.

The crash, involving a commercial vehicle and a fully loaded dump truck, occurred just before 1 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 21).

No serious injuries were reported.

In a tweet, Saanich police said the overpass was cleared around 3:45 p.m. and is once again open to traffic.
