The pond at John Phillips Memorial Park

Can’t believe it’s December

Photo taken in Sooke belies the fact that winter is near

The pond at John Phillips Memorial Park is a great green place in the middle of Sooke. The park is a favourite place for people to walk their dogs. The trees are reflected in the pond and the blue sky makes it look even bluer.

The weather is expected to be seasonal over the next week, which means rain with the odd smattering of sunshine. We won’t be experiencing the cold temperatures as in the past few weeks, but temperatures will hover in the 9 degree range.
