The Capital Regional District will renew its service agreement with the Victoria Compost and Conservation Education Society through 2019.
The VCCES is a non-profit organization, operating as the Victoria Compost Education Centre, that that has provided specialized key organic waste reduction education and outreach services under contract to the CRD for 20 years.
Through its programs on composting, local organic food production, soil and water conservation, growing your own food and rainwater harvesting, the VCCES currently provides a wide range of integrated education programs.
