The quilt comprised of 28 unique blocks with one block representing the 13 municipalities and three electoral areas.

As part of the 50th anniversary of the Capital Regional District last year a legacy quilt was created to showcase the collaboration that has built the region.

The quilt comprised of 28 unique blocks with one block representing the 13 municipalities and three electoral areas.

Sooke was presented a framed duplicate of the quilt square representing the District of Sooke at Monday’s meeting.
