Wanted: a board of variance member.

The District of Sooke will continue to search for a Board of Variance member online after it received no replies during a recent advertising blitz.

The position became vacant with the resignation of Robert Irwin last month.

A board of variance is required under provincial law.

The Board of Variance is an avenue for appeal on the interpretation and the application of certain local government regulations.
