Brush fire reported on Broom Hill; trailer fire at Sunny Shores Resort

Sooke Fire Rescue is currently on the scene of two fires.

A fire broke out on Broom Hill at the end of Blanchard Road. Fire crews had limited access, but the fire is now under contained. Firefighters believe it was started by a small campfire.

Around 4:30 p.m. fire crews were called to a trailer fire at Sunny Shores Resort. Smoke was scene coming from the trailer.
