Firefighters douse fire in East Sooke

The fire happened at Timberdoodle Road

East Sooke firefighters responded to a fire in a workshop on Timberdoodle Road on March 30.

Crews responded just after 8 a.m. A post in a Sooke Facebook group stated that a resident heard an explosion coming from the site of the fire.

East Sooke fire chief Carl Neilson was unable to provide details and could not say whether anyone was hurt in the incident.
