Kemp Lake boil water advisory lifted

Water samples taken from the lake are now clear, says Island Health

A boil water advisory for Kemp Lake residents has been lifted and the water is now clear and potable.

On Tuesday (August 2) Island Health concluded the water was clear of any contaminants and that the chlorine was having full effect.

The boil water advisory was issued two weeks ago after water quality tests showed high turbidity levels and increased bacterial count (total coliforms).
