The Sooke Lions Club will be again invited to host the Santa Parade.
The Lions stepped into host the parade last year when the Sooke Region Chamber of Commerce dropped the event.
“The event, we believe, was a success judging by all that we have heard,” said parade co-organizer Lorne Christensen.
Council gave the Lions an honorarium to host the event and will likely do the same next year, depending on budget talks.
