Cocaine, Marijuana, several edged weapons and replica firearms were seized from a Central Saanich residence this week.

Central Saanich Police and the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant on a residence in the 7200 block of Veyaness Road, according to a media release. A “substantial amount” of drugs were seized on Tuesday, June 13.

One adult male and two adult females were arrested and later released on Promise to Appears and Undertakings with strict conditions.

This search warrant was a result of a lengthy investigation involving the Police and other partner agencies.

“The Central Saanich Police Service is concerned when drug trafficking occurs within the community and are acutely aware of the risk to the public as a result of these drugs. This is even more of a concern given the current opioid crisis across the country and within our region. We will continue to target all residences being utilized for the purpose of selling drugs,” Deputy Chief Derren Lench stated, in a media release.
