UPDATE: Missing senior with dementia found safe

West Shore RCMP thank the public for their assistance

An 82-year-old woman with dementia reported missing on Tuesday has been found safe and sound, West Shore RCMP say.

The woman had last been seen in View Royal around noon on Tuesday and police believed she may have been making her way toward Goldstream Avenue.

Police thanked the public for their assistance in the search.
