UPDATED: 83-year-old man found safe

Saanich police found the man and have reunited him with his family

Saanich police located the 83-year-old man reported missing Sunday.

The West Shore RCMP initially asked for the public’s help in finding the man and his two dogs after they were last seen out for a walk around 8 p.m. Sunday near Hillside Avenue and Blanshard Street.

West Shore RCMP is asking for the public’s help in finding an 83-year-old man and his two dogs.

He was found safe and sound by police around 2:30 a.m. Monday morning by Saanich police and has been reunited with his family.
